Remember in the 80’s there was this promise of household robots could head to the fridge and fetch a few drinks for its thirsty owners? This opener would sort of fulfill that pipe dream by having a robot assist with opening a beer bottle. Progress!
There would be no robotics involved, just a bottle opener molded into the shape of Nintendo’s famous peripheral. R.O.B. himself would split in two, his lower base serving as a display stand with a magnet holder.
R.O.B. was completely useless as a video game peripheral, but as a bottle opener? I can think of no greater calling.

I haven’t done a new poster in a long time, so I thought I’d tackle the Steak House print seen in Ron Swanson’s office. I’m not the first to make this poster, but I wanted to create a larger and more show-accurate version.

Standing desks have been rising in popularity these past few years, so I thought I’d design one that is truly geeky: a standing desk that looks like an arcade cabinet. It’s the perfect standing desk for work and play.

Yet another comic book shelf/display, however this is a very simple concept: the end result looks like panels in a comic book page. This is made possible by using shelves with vertical dividers, populated by comic book holders with images on the ‘spines’ to form the panel art.

This is a jewelry box that features a built-in Ring of Power which illuminates when the box is open, sort of like a fridge light. It sits on a perch (which houses the LEDs and batteries), looking over a reservoir for other jewelry.

This mini police siren attaches to your phone, allowing you to film your own Naked Gun-style intros. It would attach via suction cups or a clamp, allowing it to be oriented in portrait or landscape mode.
Why not make this a Snapchat filter? It would look better to see what you’re filming reflect off the police car and the chrome of the siren, for that authentic look.
Here is a USB wall adapter that features additional power outlets on the sides. It would feature an illuminated front and an optional figurine on top. This could be done for other video games: a Zelda version would feature the Triforce of Power on the front, and Link on top.
Many video games can be used for this design, like Metroid or Mega Man, as long as the design revolves around a power-up of some sort.
