Add more seats to an NHL rink!

I thought of this because I am often amazed that so much prime seating is sacrificed to allow passage for the Zamboni (don’t get me started on goal judges).

The seats would be in a normal tiered configuration

Then the seats would be hydraulically lifted.

There would be some kind of alert system for the fans. They would be able to navigate the seating 100% of the time. The elevating and descent of the seats would be a slow transition.

The only safety concern I see is fans sticking their arms underneath the raised platform. Some form of partition could be used.
