Hyperkin has announced a new N64 clone console, which will include HDMI like all of their other recent console releases. It reminded me of something I wanted 20 years ago, a device that would split up the game into 4 separate displays. Ideal for the many 4-player splitscreen games that graced the N64 and other consoles of the era.

Another floating pen design, this time celebrating a famous video game moment from Super Mario 64. Anyone who says they didn’t do this is lying and cannot be trusted.
The Nintendo 64 was revolutionary in countless ways, its impact still resonates in modern consoles and games. Unfortunately the N64 and its games have not aged as well as its predecessors, the SNES and NES. Some games like Mario 64 still hold up today, while others like Goldeneye 64 are difficult to enjoy after years of playing more advanced shooters.
