There are a few Star Trek remotes you can buy for your TV, but if it were up to me I’d make one inspired by the Cricket Phaser from TNG. On the show the characters wield and point the thing like a TV remote, plus it is very small and has a good button layout. Would be ideal for a Roku or Fire TV setup.
This alarm clock has an LCD display, so it could show a lot of helpful information like weather and music settings, perhaps even personal assistant searches from Alexa. But the main draw is the Red Alert alarm, which may provide some much-needed urgency when it comes to getting out of bed in the morning.
There’s an array of buttons on top, but I made the only button that matters – the Snooze button – front and center. This alarm also sits on a Lazy Susan, so it can swivel in place just like Picard’s personal computer in his ready room.
Here is a Star Trek beer dispenser design for your basement bar! Besides the obvious tap handles, the frame is based on the architecture of the Ten Forward bar seen on Star Trek: TNG. The frame is two open windows flanked by the pillars and support beams.
