Dave’s Ideas Is Changing! Plus Some New Year’s Resolutions

A new year means a fresh new start. The URL originaldave77.wordpress.com will henceforth be known as davesgeekyideas.com. This is because ‘davesideas.com’ was taken, as was a number of other similar domain names. I was hoping for something short and sweet, but alas.

You don’t have to change your bookmark. The wordpress URL will automatically redirect you here.

For my Canadian friends, davesgeekyideas.ca will redirect you here as well.

I’ve also invested in some more bandwidth for all the images I post. What can I say, I like visual aids! Apparently many of you do as well.

I’ll be refreshing the banner and the blog’s overall appearance soon.

Some New Year’s Resolutions for myself and this blog:

1. To post one of my ideas on Kickstarter. Several Vancouverites have, so I am going to figure out how I can do the same.

2. To write and post a serial novel. I have a pretty cool story idea for a collection of short stories, so I will get on that.

3. To get a product made and listed on Thinkgeek. Apparently they think embedding electronics into T-Shirts is the future. I DISAGREE.

4. To impact the environment by realizing one of my green ideas in some fashion.

5. Visit my good friend Lila. See Lila? I totally will!

6. Volunteer some more. You’d be surprised how many doors that can open.

7. Stop posting ideas I don’t finish.

8. Have one of my IKEA furniture ideas built and sitting in my apartment.

9. Finish one PC game in my Steam queue.

10. Auction something cool on eBay for charity.
