MEGAS Update

Thought I’d update my progress on the Megas XLR model, which will be used for a wallpaper, possibly a gadget idea too.

I have to admit I was a bit horrified when I saw the old model. I was like, “MEGAS!? What did they do to you?!” and then I realized I was the culprit. If I recall correctly, we had to build a low-poly robot model with a 5,000 poly limit (or something ridiculous like that) for a class assignment.

I’ve been meticulously rebuilding parts and panels. Mostly of the car and torso here. I sort of feel like Coop fixing up this giant robot. He’s still pretty boxy though.

It’s too bad this show never caught on. Would love to have a model of this robot sitting on my desk.
