Here is a candle holder design based on Calcifer and his fireplace from Howl’s Moving Castle, something I hope Miyazaki fans will enjoy.
It stores a tea light candle. The cover is the top of the fireplace (with a hole added) attached to an amber-colored glass cylinder. The amber is for giving the candle a more orange look. Inside the glass at the front is a bubble shape to magnify and widen the candle to look like Calcifer.
Lastly some eyes are on the front. These are made of white frosted glass to allow the light to pass through, the black is painted.
This probably wouldn’t look good if you’re looking down at it, but from across the room it could pass for Calcifer.
