I know this is a goofy admission, but I always dug the futuristic-looking wheels they put on the Mars Rover. I think they’d be awesome for an office chair like the one you see above. Heck, those wheels would look cool on just about anything…skateboards, lawnmowers, you name it.

The design above has the standard 5 legs with swivel wheels. My first instinct was to make a six-wheel configuration similar to the Mars Rover, but that would sacrifice maneuverability.

This reminds me of a heavy duty chair design I posted a while back. That post continue to draw traffic from people seeking a strong and durable chair, and I have fielded numerous inquiries about making it available. I wish I could make it available, because I still want one. However the design above has the potential to be as durable, if not more so.
