I recently came to the realization that my desk organizer is very boringsauce (pictured on the right here), so I started to brainstorm a fun alternative and came up with this Q*Bert design.

The block levels found in the old arcade game would be perfect for storage. I went with a 3-tier design for the mock-up above, so ideally a real organizer would also be available in 4 and 5 tier flavors for those who need a lot of storage.

As for Q*bert himself, he could be a flash drive, pencil sharpener (too weird?), stress toy, stapler, or whatever. As long as he’s included in some form, obviously. Even a figurine would be acceptable.

Another Roomba design, this one of Q*Bert riding one of the ‘teleport discs’ he uses in the game. The disc is illuminated by RGB lights that cycle colors, giving it an appearance of spinning.

Originally I wanted the teleport disc to be about the size of a Roomba, but that would make the figurine too huge and would require a lot more lighting too.
