Ah technology. They’ve been putting voice chips into toys ever since I can remember. So why not a talking watch that is very enthusiastic about counting?

I think for a watch like this you can have the Count exclaim every top of the hour at least. If it were feasible, you could have him at the ready to exclaim every minute upon the touch of a button: Five! Five forty-six! Ah! Ah! Ah!

For those who don’t want too much noise, it could be set for alarms or certain hours of the day, to notify you of lunch or quitting time, for example.

If PBS gave this away as a thank-you for their fundraising drives, they’d be Daffy Duck rich! Or Scrooge McDuck rich. Okay I’ll stop with the references.

And yes I’d totally wear one. My surplus of manliness can afford the hit.
