Tamagotchis allowed people to care for virtual pets, and I thought Baby Yoda would be ideal for such a toy. Now you can look after the little green spud, or frequently endanger him just like the TV show does.
I made his case look like that floating crib thingy he resides in. A clear plastic bubble on the front helps this retain that familiar egg shape that Tamagotchis are known for. This approach is completely optional, the toy could look like any other Tamagotchi.
It would be nice if this keychain toy had a few extra bells and whistles, like a USB power bank. When you plug your phone in to charge, Baby Yoda could hold his hand out like he’s using the force, then fall asleep when the charging is done.
