Homemade McFlurry Maker

The long-awaited followup to my infamous Crumb-Buster design, a kitchen gadget that will help make Blizzards or McFlurries at home. Technically those desserts can be made with a blender but I wanted something that was easy to use, easy to clean, and was manually operated.

Add a few scoops of ice cream, some milk, and crumbled cookies/candy into the mug, fasten the mixer to the top, then stir away (easier to stir thanks to the mug handle). The mixer can be quickly cleaned compared to an electric blender.

Originally my design was an electric mixer (with one blade) that can fasten to the top of any cup but it looked like a pain to setup and use, so I opted for this layout which requires a dedicated mug but is so much easier to operate.

And if McDonald’s or Dairy Queen is reading this, please consider using Lucky Charms as a topping for your blended dessert.
