Zelda Ocarina Controller Followup: Highly Impractical Gamepad!
I posted some basic concepts of the Zelda Ocarina Controller yesterday. For music input and playing Ocarina of Time as a secondary controller, it does the job perfectly.
I was curious to see how it would look as a gamepad:
And it would not be very functional! This would be very uncomfortable to grasp. Unless I moved the D-Pad and analog stick to the far left, and perhaps made the left side of the controller more round than pointy.
I did however implement one cool thing: Light Gun functionality! I added a trigger, so you can hold the gamepad upside down in the gun position (inset of both pictures). But who plays with light guns anymore?

Yes I just flipped the images upside down for the gun position. :p
Not saying all my ideas are winners, but it’s fun to experiment here and there.
