Jade Doel’s Project Cafe Controller Design

Jade has made this very cool design for the rumored touchscreen controller for Nintendo’s upcoming console, currently nicknamed the Project Cafe. It is similar to my design, but we were both following the same descriptions that have been circulating around the interweb. His design is nicknamed the nStream.

His prototype looks great! He even made a video that showcases the menu interface, and also features some music that will no doubt get you in the gaming mood:

There is much to like here, it’s a very sleek and modern-looking controller. I’d say it would make for an awesome handheld gaming platform as well.

The only thing I would change are the buttons (a bit too 360ish) and the D-pad to make them appear more Nintendo-like, but that is just my preference.
