I’m breaking my promise of no more tiny house designs, but this is a container house, which is slightly different. This design is based on a 20-foot container, which is on the smaller side, but you could go life-size with a 40-footer and a real truck if you wanted.

Imagine a lane of highway that is laced with bumps for several miles. It hates you and your car, and doesn’t want you driving on it at all. If it could talk, it would yell at you to move to the next lane over. WHY on earth would I share this idea? Because it might improve traffic flow on congested highways, at least that’s my theory.

Vancouver has one of the best mass transit systems in the world, but I do not miss the crowded trains that happen during peak times. I propose special ‘Overflow’ train cars that sit at the front and back of a train, increasing passenger capacity. This creates a longer train that extends beyond the length of existing platforms.

When they opened up the suitcase that contained the “Dream Sharing Device” in Inception, the upper section reminded me of a clock face, so I threw this alarm clock design together.
It has a compact clamshell case based on the suitcase, typical of many travel alarm clocks. It could beep or buzz people awake, perhaps even play the kick song as well.

Carrying cases are trendy again, thanks to the surging popularity of the NES and SNES Classic Mini consoles. Thought I would design a case that features a built-in monitor, a handy feature for gamers who want a compact gaming rig, or a means to game on the go. This case is about the size of a large lunchbox, and was inspired by portable record players.
It transforms from a suitcase into a retro TV, complete with a wheeled cart (the wheels are also functional in suitcase mode). The TV is a USB-powered portable LCD monitor. The flaps on the sides of the case clamp everything down in both suitcase and TV mode.
The transformation adds a great deal of versatility; theoretically you could always use this case, either as an entertainment center or means of transporting the game system. You never really have to remove the console.
There is a drawer beneath the system to store controllers and accessories, perhaps a power supply as well for mobile gaming.
