An office desk that looks like Homer Simpson’s control panel which looks like a partially-eaten donut. Not quite an Inception level of deep, but close enough for me. With this desk, you’d be able to “work” like Homer, which is essentially leaning back and putting your feet up to relax on the job.

I haven’t done a new poster in a long time, so I thought I’d tackle the Steak House print seen in Ron Swanson’s office. I’m not the first to make this poster, but I wanted to create a larger and more show-accurate version.

I’ve already gone on record saying TV manufacturers should be more cavalier when it comes to the design of their TVs, and I’m sad to say not much has changed on that front! But what about plain-looking TVs that compliment other products?

(UPDATE May 13th, 2019) This is an updated design of the original box set, which was based on the front door of the Devil’s Gate (pics here, here, and here). Thought I’d revamp it so the Devil’s Gate is shrunken down to a small lock on a fancy case. It still opens with the Colt that doubles as a key.
The Colt fastens onto the front with a magnet. Maybe it should be chained on, I’m not sure. I wanted a vanilla case that can fit in with the rest of the movie library on the shelf. The black and silver is reminiscent of the car from the show.
This case is ready for all 15 seasons when the show concludes in 2020. That is quite an incredible run! My memory is fuzzy, but I think I caught one of the first episodes right after Smallville, a lifetime ago.
You probably remember the phrase “There is always money in the Banana Stand” from Arrested Development, a reference to the large stash of money hidden in its walls, not the stand’s revenue potential (as initially thought). So I felt the Banana Stand would make for a neat piggy bank, but alas other geeks have already thought of that.
So I propose an ATM machine design instead! This way it would be close to the size of the actual Banana Stand seen in the show, and would be in keeping with the aforementioned phrase.
If you’re Canadian and really old, you probably want one of these. All you would need is a red “construction worker” lunch box, then decorate it (via paint or stickers) with a bunch of pretty flowers.
For Sons Of Anarchy I thought I’d put together a cigar box case that resembled the gang’s meeting table. It features a magnetic gavel lock on the side. To make all the cases easier to extract from the box, I put the discs in CD-sized jewel cases.
