The long-awaited followup to my Ouija Board coffee table and rug design, I present a mirror and dresser combo that has a Guillotine theme. Nothing disturbing about this at all, ha-ha. This can also be a table and mirror combination, for a more ‘raised platform’ appearance, and to allow it to be parked in a hallway.

Nintendo Entertainment Center
This entertainment center is a copy of the ‘World of Nintendo’ display case that used to reside in video game stores back in the 90’s, minus the sliding glass on the front. It’s the ideal size for a flat panel display and some game consoles.
Arcade Cabinet Desk
I already designed an Arcade Cabinet Standing Desk, thought I’d make one for sitting people. This was inspired by my L-shaped IKEA desk; lately I’ve been thinking about giving it a Pac-Man vinyl cover, because its laminate surface is in rough shape.
Just need colorful t-molding around the edge of the desk surface, and a marquee for the leg (which could be back-lit if you want to be fancy).
Jurassic Park Tablet Theater
I haven’t done a Jurassic Park design in a long time, so how about this…boring desk? I’ll clear up the confusion shortly, but first let me start off by saying that I was inspired by this neat Millennium Falcon Theater. In that setup a tablet device is elevated, allowing users to lie underneath it and watch movies.
Stay Puft Round Bed
Another item I was thinking of creating for the interior of the Ghostbusters Tiny House, a round bed design based on Stay Puft’s sailor hat. It wouldn’t be a life-size replica, but this large bed would be an eye-catching addition to any geek’s bedroom.
I made the red tassle into a headboard for this design, but if you wanted you could ditch the headboard and attach a loose red tassle to the center of the blanket and have it hang over the side, just like the actual hat. Not pictured: white pillows and a white blanket, to blend in with the hat.
On a related note, I’m surprised no one made a round bed based on the OREO cookie. Looking at round beds for my research I was constantly reminded of the cream-filled snack. Now you can share my craving! I’m so evil.
Ghostbusters Wall Hooks
Recently I’ve been thinking about doing an interior for the Ghostbusters tiny house that I posted a few weeks ago, and one of my first thoughts was to make some coat hooks for the entrance. It then sprang into my head to use ghost traps, and they were amusing enough to warrant their own post so I’m sharing it here.
They not only serve as coat hooks, but as storage for your keys and wallet. There’s a small drawer behind the trap doors:
This is sort of thing I would force kids to make in shop class, instead of napkin holders and bird houses. I would then give them failing grades, confiscate their work, and sell the wares on eBay.
Pro Sports Locker Hall Tree
A Hall Tree is a coat rack combined with a storage bench that is parked by the front door or in a mud room; here are some examples. I feel these Hall Trees could be made to look like player lockers from the pro leagues (NHL, NBA, NFL, etc.). The above design is based on the actual lockers belonging to the Calgary Flames, but you could do this with any pro team.
