This is an old design that I’m bringing over from my hockey blog. It is the hockey pad of my dreams! The centerpiece of the design is a floating entertainment unit that is mounted onto a wall (adorned with a crowd mural) that looks like an NHL scoreboard, this is where the TV sits.

As part of my continuing quest to ruin all things found in a rec room (see Foosball Table, Arcade Cabinet, and Table Hockey designs), I turned my attention to the Skee-Ball machine. I went with a Deadpool theme, that’s pretty much all there is to say. Ticket dispenser and novelty prizes are not included.
This is actually a mini Foosball Table, I chose this 4-rod layout to mimic Rocket League’s 4v4 “Chaos” matchup. I don’t know if this is feasible as a real product, mostly because of the detailed shape of the cars compared to the simple paddle feet of normal foosball players, which could hamper play.
This is a no-frills design. LED’s could be added to the goals and field (for powerups). A glass bubble would make this look like a Rocket League stadium. The ball could resemble the one from the game too (complete with lights). I just wanted something as simple as me.
