Calgary C-Train Map - Super Mario 3 Style - Second Edition
You can buy a high-res poster of this map here.
This is the new hotness. Old and busted. New hotness ^. Old and…okay okay I’ll stop it. Anyways, with the recent Toronto and Montreal maps being released and the Vancouver map getting a makeover, the Calgary map suddenly looked like the ugly duckling in the group. So I decided to revisit the Stampede City.
My timing couldn’t be better. Today they permanently closed the West 10th St station, in its place the Downtown West-Kerby station will open a block west on 11th. Personally I think they should remove “Downtown” from the name, because the other 8 stops in the downtown core don’t have that designation. I have a thing for consistency.
Also when I did the original map a year ago, the Northeast extension (which just opened last month) had the final stop slated to be named “Saddleridge”, but instead they went with “Saddletowne”, which I think sounds better.
Larger text and some fish in the Bow River are the only major changes, aside from a cleaner layout of those tree thingies.
I promise the next map will be an American city! Haven’t settled on one yet.
UPDATE: Here is a nakeder edition. You can buy it here.

You should totally do Boston as your first american city. I’d buy the print IMMEDIATELY. =)
