Attack On Titan Pendant
Yesterday I posted a Zelda pendant, and in that post I mentioned my original intention was to make a design based on Attack On Titan. I’ve gotten quite a few responses asking about the discarded AoT design, so I decided to share the mock-up.
In the Zelda post I sort of implied that the 3D Maneuvering Gear would be used as the chain in some way, but I was probably a bit vague in my wording. My bad.
The reason I went with Zelda is that it would be more compact and, well, cute (I’m keeping my man card, thank-you). I felt AoT would be a bit too busy, despite the fun aspect of turning its wearer into a titan of sorts.
If this were actually made, I’d put the swords back in their sheaths to make this pendant less pointy.
Geek Bling Part 5: Hungry Hungry Hippos
It’s Friday, so why not something on the fun side? Yup, pearl jewelry based on the board game Hungry Hungry Hippos. Depicted above are a pair of earrings and a necklace, though this could translate into bracelets and rings as well.
Obviously these would be for the geek girl with a sense of humor. That’s because there is an inherent danger in gifting hippo-themed jewelry to your lady friend. You might be safer trying to hug a real Hippopotamus.
Watch This! Part 4: Jurassic Park
Here is a fun wristwatch design based on the night vision goggles from Jurassic Park. At first glance it looks like something just for the kids, but it has a sporty look many adults would use in my opinion.
