Mr. Dressup Lunch Box
If you’re Canadian who is 22 and older, you probably want one of these. As you know I am straight-up gangster, and even I would want one.
All you would need is a red “construction worker” lunch box, then decorate it (via paint or stickers) with a bunch of pretty flowers.
Super Metroid Missile Lamps
The missile upgrades spread throughout Planet Zebes in Super Metroid were encased in a glass dome (well, I think they were glass domes), so I always thought they’d make for a nice display piece. And what better display than a lamp?
It probably wouldn’t be a full-on lamp mind you. Just an ambient light, something that could be used as a night light or just decoration. If it were up to me, they’d be solar-powered and would also have a light sensor to activate when it gets dark.
Also it couldn’t be a life-size replica, otherwise it would be 2-feet tall (they were 1/3 of Samus’ height in the game). Personally I’d like these to be about the size of a coffee mug, so I can leave several throughout my home.
R2D2 Wireless Adapter
Switched to wireless internet recently, so I got one of these Wireless Adapters (the D-Link DWA-130, pictured) that came with a USB cradle for my workstation. Its blinking light and leaning stance reminded me of a certain Star Wars character, so I put this design together.
R2’s antennae is just for show, it’s the one used to search for a Lukesicle at the beginning of Empire Strikes Back.
Geek Bling Part 9: Snowspeeder Necklace
A necklace based on the Snowspeeder and its grapple line, pretty straightforward. You could have it loop around your neck a few times! Could also work as a bracelet or bolo tie. I prefer a “pewter” look for the ship but it could be a full-color model too.
Watch This! Part 7: WWE Wrestling Belt
Very surprised these aren’t a thing: wrist watches based on wrestling belts. I mean, a watch looks like a tiny belt essentially, so why not? Wrestling belts are also very bling-y, making them perfect for luxury watches (or fake watches that Jabronis can afford). All seems like a no-brainer to me.
Wrestling fans would love these, but you know who else they would be great for? Any group of guys where a current champ is involved, like a fantasy league or office pool (e.g. top salesman); the reigning champ gets to wear the watch!
This design has a flip cover, which would leave the belt face intact, making it look like a small replica. While a flip cover is my personal preference, I would not be opposed to having the watch face or timer embedded into the belt buckle itself.
So many possibilities for this watch type: WWE. WWF, WCW, NWO, heck, even Ted Dibiase’s million dollar belt.

Geeky Chair Mat: NHL ’94
UPDATE: Want one? Head here for details. Original post as follows:
There are really no geeky chair mats available right now (I can’t find any), but if I had my way there would be one based on the star player icon from NHL ’94. This could also apply to other 16-bit sport series made by EA back in the day, like Madden or Bulls Vs. Lakers.
If IKEA Made Geeky Furniture Part 19: Gearhead Bedroom
Not exactly geeky (but could be given the Speed Racer or Megas XLR treatment), these designs are more for the gearheads. The bed frame is based on a car lift; the dresser is based on a tool drawer; and finally a light that is based on the one mechanics use to look underneath cars with (well, it could be the exact same light to be honest). You could even park a car-shaped bed on the lift.
